Offers food for thought
Save me from my weaknesses, my temptations and the areas of my life that I don’t want Him to mess around with! If I say He is my brother / my friend, then I really need to make sure that I’m attentive to the relationship. It’s important to talk to Him, listen to Him, seek His advise and sometimes to just ‘be’ with Him in silence. A relationship with anyone won’t be good or get better without sincere and loving attention.
No matter how ‘awesome’ you are in your faith life and walk, be willing to take it to the next level. Unless of course you’re a Living Saint. In that case, please call me and we’ll set up a time for you to teach the rest of us how to become Saints! As for the rest of us, it might be good to take some time and reflect on our answer to the question and what it means to who we are and who we ought to become.
Consider these two circles: (I didn’t come up with this, and there are a wide variety of versions on the internet… all of which are really helpful)
Which circle best represents your life, or areas of your life?
Which circle would you like to have represent your whole being and life?
Peace doesn't just happen; it's made.
